Holidazzle Christmas parade in downtown Minneapolis.
Because of the height of the IDS building, this was one of the first panoramas where I shot a separate "zenith" shot to patch in overhead. It worked much better than I thought it would, and I was happy with this panorama for a little while.
But now, with my new camera and lens, I can turn out much better down panoramas of downtown. Check out my panoramas of the Mary Tyler Moore statue with the Wells Fargo Building and the IDS Building, taken just a block down the street with my Nikon D70 and Sigma 8mm.

The 27,000 blocks of ice for the Ice Palace are cut and floated across the lake to the conveyer belt where they are rolled to shore and stacked for shipment to the construction site.
